Built in 1917 by Harland & Wolff Ltd Govan Glasgow Scotland Great Britain as " WAR EXPERT " for The Shipping Controller (Anglo-Saxon Petroleum Co. Ltd London as manager) London Great Britain. Launched 29/12.1918 Delivered 18/03.

Tonnage : grt / nrt / tdw - 7.800 tdw, 5.198 brt, 3.154 nrt.
Machinery : David Rowan Triple Exp Steam Engine (27,0”–44,0”–73,0”, Stroke 48,0”) - 490 nhp.
Main Boiler : 3 x David Rowan Steam Boiler w/3 Furnace.Total Heating Area 7.020 ft². Work Pressure 180 psi..

1919 Sold to Anglo-Saxon Pteroleum Co. Ltd London Great Britain.
1921 Renamed " ANOMIA ".
1927 Sold to A/S Brøvigseil (Th. Brøvig Rederi A/S Farsund as manager ) Farsund Norway,renamed " ANDREA ".
1933 Transferred to Th. Brøvig Rederi A/S ( Same manager ) Farsund Norway.
1938 Sold to Ditta Marino Querci Genova Italy.renamed " MUGNONE ".
1938 Converted to a dry cargo vessel.
1940 Seized 10/06 by British authorities in Newcastle on Tyne Great Britain. Taken over by Ministry of War Transport, London (H. Hogarth & Sons Newcastel as manager ) Newcastle Great Britain,renamed " EMPIRE PROGRESS ".
1942 Torpedoed and sunk 13/04 by the German submarine U 402 (Korvettenkapitän Siegfried Freiherr von Forstner) in position 40.29N-52.35W whilst on a voyage from Glasgow, Scotland to Tampa, FL, USA in ballast.

The master, seven crew members and four gunners were lost. 32 crew members and six gunners abandoned ship and were later picked up by the MV " OLAF FOSTENES " of Haugesund Norway and landed at Halifax Canada.
