Hi ruud,
I,m not to sure of the history of the Anglia but the name Venus seems to come to mind but for a name like Joachim Hendrik Fisser I dont think her bow would be big enough to paint it on...lol

She was definitely managed by Brink & Wollfel, I remember Georg was Mate on the 'Schleswig Holstein' on the Channel Island run before he took the 'Anglia' ,also managed by them.

Looks like a handy river-sea ship, sharp looking too.
Makes me wonder why they were always called: Rhein-Seeschiff and never Elbe-Seeschiff.... At least the english name is a bit more neutral and allows other rivers to participate :)
