Some of those in the foreground look as though if they were full of passenegers, they would roll over.

I always thought Arcadia was one of the more beautiful of the modern cruise liners and thought she looked great in the P&O livery.

Originally she was desitined to be Queen Victoria I beleive but this was changed.

You will find that the ship you are refering to is the new Arcadia, see Jimmy Pool's notes.
(when launched in 1988 this was one of the Wold's largest cruise ships)
