Great shot Stephen,I wonder why there is no smoke in my reference photo,perhaps the ID and FD fans where working better for the "di-pod" funnel.

Hi Dave, Several photos showing the dipod. I guess you photos must have been taken when the boilers were are perfect 'conditions'. Think about all of the photos you see of ships 'alongside'... rarely see any heavy smoke or any at all.
Oh, the ship is not actually at Southampton. She is at anchor in the Solent. GATCOMBE is alongside with passengers for the ARKADIA.
