I thought that the Armadale was a Trinder ship, what was the N on the stack?

Seen with Nigerian National Line funnel colours so presumably chartered to that company.

Fine shot, janathull--Armadale (III) was an SD 15--the up-market version of the SD 14--larger, faster and with 'extras' designed to appeal to cargo liner operators. Unfortunately, she remained the only SD 15 ever built, but she remained with Trinders to the end, outlasting their later SD 14's
Armadale
Built: 1970 Austin and Pickersgill Ltd, Sunderland
Tonnage: 10,328gt
Owners: Australind Steam Shipping Co Ltd(Trinder, Anderson)
1981: Dido
1985: Teti
1989: Abandoned after a fire & explosion off the coast of China, towed into Shanhai, broken up.

Hi,

Her accomadation was also far superior for all crew compared to the SD14's.

Best Regards
