Build in 1959 by AB Akensberg Varv Stockholm Sweden as " ARTENSIS " for A/S Acadia ( Sigurd Bruusgaard Drammen as manager ) Drammen Norway.

Tonnage : grt / nrt / tdw - 4.459 / 2.313 / 5.975.
Main Engine : B&W DM 750 VT BF-110 - 4.300 bhp / 160 rpm.
Aux.Engine : B&W 425-MTH40 - 3 x 240 kw.
Emerg.Gen : Daimler Benz M302B - 1 x 79 kw.

1968 Sold to VEB Deutche Seereederei Rostock East Germany,renamed " ORLA ".
1974 Sold/Transferred to VEB Deutfracht / Seereederei Rostock East Germany.
1961 Extensive damages 17/07 during fire while loading newsprint at Botwood, Newfoundland, Canada for New York,NY, USA. The fire started ashore, but spread to the aft ship.
3 men died. Towed 29/08 to Halifax, NS, Canada for temporary repairs.
Towed in November to A/B Lindholmens Varv Göteborg Sweden for permanent repairs.
1962 Back in service in March.
1968 Sold for USD 960.000 to VBE Deutsche Seerederei Rostock East Germany,renamed " ORLA ".
1973 The company renamed VEB Deutfracht/Seerederei Rostock East Germany.
1981 Sold to Vesuvios Maritime Co. S.A. (Manta Line Inc.) Panama City Panama,renamed " SUGAR TRADER ".
1983 Stranded 25/12 at Port Louis Mauritius after moorings broke during a cyclone.
1984 Refloated 13/01.
1984 Sold in March “as is” to Propiano Shipping Corporation (Murri Freres, Rome, Italy) Panama City Panama,renamed " TURRET ". Towed to Mombasa Kenya and laid up.

1987 Sold to demolition for USD 159/LDT. Arrived 19/12 at Gadani Beach Pakistan for demolition that began 24/12.
