Hope the booze wasn't at Norwegian prices (today around £7 for a pint of beer).

Fortunately it was duty free !

Soon after my friend in the photo , myself and two others were in serious trouble for jumping from two decks up into the swimming pool !
I didn't speak Norwegian but worked out the Captain was extremely angry.

Tourcoing has enjoyed a long life being built in 1979 and I think still in service.

Had the same problem with jumpers from the emergency steering deck on Iberia in 64 when sailing from Sydney to Tokyo with lots of Olympic Games ex athelets,tourists/would be heros on board, almost turned into anarchic with enmasse jumps becoming the big thrill into the small tourist pool.
It took the Watch a couple of minutes too long to accept that a serious situation was developing.
I never got to hear if the Captain was extremely angry.
