I rmember travelling from Bristol to Oban to service the sat com (JRC JUE-15A) in this ship. At that time it was loading granite to take down for something to do with the Channel Tunnel construction. Must have been some time around 1985/86 I guess.

Buoy, she was one of the regular bulk carriers in the early days of Glensanda Super-quarry, she mainly ran to the Isle of Grain with granite chips for the concrete segments used to line the channel tunnel.....I worked on the personell boats at that time and fair chance might have taken you over to the ship at Glensanda....
