Transferred to British flag in 1962. Sailed from Liverpool on 10th April 1978 for the final time and was scrapped at Gadani Be

Looking good with all her gear flying, 24 derricks in all. A great sight! Just a pity she didn't have a gut full as well.

Actually she had 3 at no.1 when I was on it in 67, making 25 if you exclude the jumbo. Nobody seemed to know what it was for, we never used it to open the lids although it was in the centre of the hatch. Must have been removed by the time this photo was taken.
