I live not far, from where those huge cats and tirmarrans are built, unfortunatley, those ripples you see in the hull, cannot be disposed of at all. That is one of the drawbacks when building in plate aluminium, it doesnt bend very well. See the below link and will take you to Austala's homepage.
She is in fact the lead ship of the above class and a stabilized mono hull. They are in turn the base design for the now "Littoral Class" ships for the USN.
I saw the BENCHIJIGUA EXPRESS under construction a few years back and she was a very impressive ship indeed.
This latest vessel is a second generation of the same concept and I dips my lid to Austal as this is a ground breaking design.
