Thnks Barry;

although seem incredible when I really tasted the salt flavor was a very very quiet night at Indian Ocean travelling North-East bound btwn Mozambique and Madagascar Island, at that time sea was a "silver tray" and the moon liked a theater main light spot iluminating all the water surface in a beatiful way, scene that any money can pay it; meanwhile a smooth breeze coming up from our bow was embracing us leaving our skin plenty of salt and marine iodine.-

I confess,that night was one of the best & superbs moments of my life, if well it happen on 1985 I remember it as yesterday.-

I know what you mean mario; somebody never paid for the services whilst in port, hence causing the ship to run into bad weather.

Hi Mario
You describe a balmy tropical night watch so well. We all have similar memories, and as you say money cannot buy those.

Dear Barry:

I´m sure, all of seamen must to have similar memories, I just describe it and shared with SN mates something that for me was a great experience;

Cheers!
