I totally agree Alan, beautiful indeed (like yer own).

Carl,
Welcome aboard SN Many thanks for this excellent photo, and looking forward to seeing more.

she was built as Stevie Clarkes "Steyning", and r/n "Ballywalter" in 1971.

She may have been just out of the drydock during that August as she looks in pristine condition, loading the last wagon on the river berth before a quick run across to the West Twin PS for the weekend.

regards Kenny.

Hi Carl,

One of the best shots of a Kellyboat I've seen ,she was built in 1955 as STEYNING for SC and purchased by Kelly in 1971 sold in 1979 and renamed Sallywalter out with the' B 'and in with.' S ' , a beautiful photo,

Cheers,

Fred.

Thanks again for the comments, I have a few more old photos to upload but unfortunately my main hobby was photographing aircraft and if I happened to see a good shot of a boat I would take it but I don't know the exact type of many of theses boats. Should I just guess and upload ?

Cheers Carl.

Post away Carl - the moderators are a helpful bunch. They will soon relocate your photos if put in the wrong category.
Cheers, Alan.
