she ended up as a standby vessel,one of the babys of our fleet,the other teenies were the exuma and togo.huey harper was her regular skipper during the early 90s but by the end of 92 the smaller class of standby vessels were obsol;ete and we lost a large number of the little to medeum sized vessels.

Built 1962 by Richards Ironworks Ltd.,Lowestoft as Jacklyn for Jackora Ltd.(Mitchell Bros.Ltd.,)of Lowestoft.She was originally Milford registered before being transferred by her owners to Lowestoft and re-registered as LT434.Bought by Colne Fishing Co.,in 1975 and following year was renamed Barbuda.She continued fishing for this company before being converted to a standby vessel in 1985.She was mentioned in the national media when it was reported local holiday makers would find it amusing to read in chalked lettering on a black notice board outside the owner's office "WANTED,MATE FOR JACKLYN"
