BARON KILMARNOCK

Hogarth tanker built by the Caledon Yard in Dundee in 1953.
She stayed with Hogarth until 1957 when she was sold and renamed SPICA. She was then converted to a bulk carrier and renamed EASTLAND TRADER. She had other names and was scrapped in 1979 as BLOOMFIELD.

Great to see her as she originally was, a tanker.
As San Antonio, a bulk carrier, she was my last command before coming ashore in December 1971.
A ship I remember with great affection. Lovely accommodation.
