if i mind right the base of the block was on the stb side to keep it clear of the drum and thats just were the block lay,could be wrong though

yes the power block was on the stbd side and thats where its crutch was. and the sticky ricker is a place we fished between papa stour and foula, very sticky and ricky hence the sticky ricker!
