Ben Line's Bendoran is seen inward bound on the Thames at Tilbury in 1966. Built by Charles Connell & Co at Scotstoun in 1956 she was 9,932 gr tons and a fine representative of the British fleet.

Bound for Victoria C shed in those days I think, to load outwards for the home of the Hong Kong Bar (and the rest!). Later Ben Line moved to Albert 9 or 11 berths for outward loading - where the University of East London now is!
