G'day Torrens,
great to see this picture. I joined her in Grangemouth on 25.7.1977 so would have been aboard when this picture was taken. Headed round to Newport to load scrap steel in the lower holds for Bangkok. From there it was Birkenhead to finish off loading general cargo for Eastern ports.
Arrived Kaohsiung on 15.10.1977.

Master was Adam Yuill, Bosun was John Muir, Chippy was Alick Guyan, AB's that I can remember were Archie Boyd from Barra, Jimmy Pirie from Aberdeen, Lincoln Wechter, Allan McLeod from Stornoway who fell down the hatch into the upper tween deck but completed the trip and the rest fail me at the moment. As Duncan Montgomery would say, "Leave things alone when you're under the grip of the grape".
