David, great photo. Pretty as a picture. Did a coast on her shortly before leaving BL. Is that a house flag I see fluttering from the foremast? How different !

One of my old ships and as Binliner says a happy ship, joined her as 3/E just a couple of weeks after this photograph was taken.

ON ONE TRIP FROM LIVERPOOL / GRANGEMOUTH NEARLY TOOK THE NOSE OF HUR GOING
THROUGH THE PENTLAND FIRTH SHE WAS WELL DOWN BY THE HEAD BY WATER ON ARR AT FORTH

My first ship as a very wet behind the ears 2nd lecky. Happy memories. Peter Judge 2nd eng. Steve Suttie 3rd eng. Derek Hume 1st mate, Neil Mathieson 2nd mate. Arthur ??? 3rd mate. Where have the years gone!!!

Neil Matheson, name rings a bell, I think he was on the Ledi when I first joined Thopmsons in 1975, I think he was C/O.

also my first ship very green and wet behind ears did 3trips @3coasts on her capt e copeman master (prob. best master i sailed under)1963

was trying to remember the names of the crew when i was on her,here goes. capt j.d.pryde,ch off jimmy walterson,mate ? roberts,2nd mate w sinclair,3rd mate pete cowie.cadets !!ginger!,tom ?. bosun,john fulton.chippy,rodney knowles. a.b. willie macdonald,archie rankin,willie murray.cyril ritches. john ?. sos jimmy maclean,dhu angus maclean and jos norman merchant.
