Betancuria

M/S Betancuria from Fred Olsen took part in a lot of convoys during the WW2 on allied side. Can someone tell me. Is this photo taken after the war?

You can find some information on BETANCURIA's service during WW II on this page:

Your photo must be from after the war since she has a radar antenna on top of her wheel-house.

Neat and tidy and compact looking ship . Probably on Fred's Med services from North Europe.

I have seen her countless times - prewar, during the war and after the war.
She was a very busy ship...
Often seen in the Thames with a cargo of tomatoes, and a deck cargo of
potatoes from Las Palmas..
