Birdwood

Joined the Birdwood by jumping aboard as she passed outward bound through the lock gates at ming ming. Across to Ternezeun then back to ming ming where I left the ship via a painter's boat as the vessel was tied to a buoy mid dock. Never left the ship in Holland as it was freezing, February 1963. Believe the ship had been to the Great Lakes previously.
