The 1958 Malmo built BITTERFELD was photographed passing Hoek van Holland, inbound for Rotterdam, on 22nd June 1970.

The former SOUTHERN CLIPPER, purchased by East Germany in 1963, she was sold to Sicilian buyers in 1979 and traded as IONIO until arriving at Gadani Beach on 19.12.87 to be broken up

1973 Transferred to VEB Deutfracht/Seereederei Rostock East Germany.
1979 Sold to Misano de Navigazion S.p.A Ravenna Italy,renamed " IONIO ".
1983 Sold to Sicania S.p.A Cia de Navigazione Ravenna Italy.
1984 Sold to Societe Marittima Internazionale S.p.A Palermo Italy.
1987 BU Gadani Beach Pakistan.
