Nor are likely to Ian. She can only operate as a ferry in Venezuelan waters as she does not comply with current SOLAS passenger regulations.

She is actually operating as a cruise ship for the local market in Venezuelan waters not as a ferry.

I had a cruise on her on 2005 Liverpool to the Canaries, I really enjoyed it everything was fine I was amazed how well kept she was for her age. She was obviously well maintained throughout her life and it paid dividends. She carried 500 + passengers not in luxury but in very comfortable cabins, food was excellent and all crew members I was in contact with were more than helpful and friendly. She had seventeen different nationalities in her crew but all worked as a team, there were very few Europeans in the crew, quite a number from Cuba all in all she was a very well run vessel.
