One of the first 7 of 14 "Bird" Class 16,000 tonners ordered by the company for delivery between 1959 and 1962. Built by A. Stephen & Sons Ltd., Glasgow, and completed on February 1959 she was 15,983

Craig, many thanks for that information. I've amended the description and my own records accordingly. Am I right in guessing that the dry dock in question no longer exists?
