Been searching for this for two years. My last trip at sea, good crowd,
Peter Gardiner Capt, George Stokes C/E, Duggie Brown 2/E. Great ship
but would roll on a damp lawn.

Glad to have been of help-- did you view the link I sent you in the response to "Blackwall Point". I cannot find anything else re this ship I'm afraid. Never sailed with Peter Gardiner, but I did with Douggie. Regards.

I sailed with Peter Gardiner when he was Chief Officer on the Sheaf Royal and I was Apprentice. He was a good bloke to have with you. He left to take over as Captain of the Sheaf Holme in about 1954/5. Johnny Walker was the Captain and Arnel Aksim the Chief
