I joined the "British Workman" a few days before the Suez Crisis in 1956.
Falmouth to Bandar Mashur, Bandar Mashur to Haifa,
Haifa to Port Augusta (Sicily) fuel oil to Venice and Trieste
Trieste to Bandar Mashur, Bandar Mashur to Swansea.

Three cargoes in ten months one of them only a short coastal voyage, she was quite slow, we had to stop for an hour every morning to change exhaust valves, the 3rd eng. used to spend the forenoon watch grinding the old valve in readiness for refitting the next day.
Happy days. Bruce.

She looks very smart, I was in her at FrederIcia in 66, also went into the Artic to Honningsvaag and Tromso, I recall walking ashore at Tromso, a nice sunny day and coming back in a blizzard. Been in better places. Trevor
