Brocklebank's Mahronda IV

Mahronda was built in 1963 and launched as Saxonia for Cunard's North American service. She was transferred to Cunard-Brocklebank on 1st January 1968.
She was lengthened with the addition of an extra hold in 1970 by Swan Hunter Ship Repairers Ltd. and renamed Mahronda.
In 1972 she was chartered for 6 months by Chr. Haaland, Haugesund with the funnel carrying his colours and the ship bearing the name Concordia. She reverted back to Mahronda at the end of the charter. She was laid up in the River Fal for 4 months in 1977 and was sold in March 1978 to Chung Chiao Shipping Co., Singapore and renamed New Deer.

On 21st May 1983 she left Hong Kong for China where she was then scrapped.
