OK..I'll say it..this clown should not be allowed to leave the confines of his Mums bathtub...and thats no reflection on his Mum or the bathtub..He is a danger to himself and others ..especially to the folk who will hopefully not have to go out and risk their necks to pull said clown out the the mess that lax or nil restrictions on "adventurers" allow said clown to attempt this nonsenical voyage and invevitably get himself into. Oh well, rescuing him time and time again has cost the taxpayers a bit of money. But wasting money on nonsense is a speciality of most politicians (here in Norway at least, like a gigantic Opera nobody but politicians wants, an extra copy of all official papers printed in an invented language nobody speaks, or golden pissoirs in the Bank of Norway building). 67 years old and at it again, whatever he this time manages in the way of capsizing or record breaking, I'm rooting for him. World needs crazy old men afloat! Regards, Stein.
From what we saw yeaterday at the start of his epic voyage - some would say crazy voyage, if he dosen't make it, it will probably be due to equipment failure or just the shear size of the boat and the handling of same, especially when it get a little beezy. He was doing 19 knots at the start as shown in the picture and there was only about about 10 - 15 knots of breez!! We will watch with interest!
"grey ghost" - I like it. And yes I threw caution to the wind and risked life and limb for a trip in the "grey ghost"!! During the gusty wind over the weekend it's now known as the "flexi cat"!
