looks like a verry small harbour for those ferries,
hard for turning...not?

Hi Uzzi,
The Camber Dock has, for many years, been used by 'Dutch' coasters and small colliers - only these would have been warped around that bend. This is no longer a commercial dock and the car ferry terminal is of more recent build. The car ferries simply berth near to the entrance of the dock - in line with the vessel just departing - note the car parking area (above the vessel on the left in this photograph). The departing ferry has to clear the dock entrance before the next can enter.
Regards,
John.

The ferries turn outside and reverse in, which is quite simple as they are Voith-Schneider vessels
