Scan of a B & W photo I bought a few years back in a second hand shop. Canberra about to berth in Auckland, dates back to the early '60's. Note the funnels, no cowling has been fitted at that stage. Would not be surprised if this was the maiden call, my photo reveals a Princes Wharf packed with spectators and on closer inspection, Queens Wharf and the cargo vessel also berthed there are covered with people.
