CAPE NORTH

A Standard C1-A type built by Pennsylvania Shipyards Inc., Beaumont, Texas and completed in October 1943 as Cape North.
She was taken over by Nortraship on bareboat charter from the WSA. She was one of around ten vessels added to Nortraship’s fleet in 1943 where she was renamed Alf Linde

Main Engine : Norberg 6 Cyl ( 21.5"x29.0" ) - 2 x 2.075 bhp.

1943 Bareboat Chartered by The Norwaegian Goverment manged by Norwegian management compsny Nortraship London/New York,renamed " ALF LINDEBERG ".
1946 Sold to A/S Besco ( Bjarne Holter-Sørensens Rederi A/S Oslo as manager ) Oslo Norway.
1951 New manager : Anders Wilhelmses Rederi A/S Oslo Norway.
1954 Renamed " SUNROSE ".
1960 Sold to Strom Shipping Co A/S ( Gunnar T.Strøm A/S Oslo as manager ) Oslo Norway.
1962 Renamed " STROM FOREST ".
1969 Sold to Arne Teigen & Jens Hetlands Rederi A/S ( Arne Teigen Egersund as manager) Egersund Norway,renamed " RYTTERHOLM ".

1972 BU Whampoa China.
