She was previously the AMARAPOORA of Henderson's and was built in 1920.

Thanks Roberto - Hopefully the shadows help make the large area of sea in the foreground more interesting as well as leading the eye in towards the ship.

Excellent work Tony,I always had a soft spot for Henderson's ships,especially the Prome.

Emil and Dave - I very much appreciate your comments.

I never managed to see a Henderson vessel, but despite them being a 'little plain' I enjoyed painting this.

Like you I am attracted to the Prome.
She may make a nice subject for the future.
