CARDIFFBROOK was a motor vessel, but at the same time Comben Longstaff took delivery of CARDIGANBROOK, which was almost identical but was a steamer. Hughes Holden's RAMBLER ROSE, also from John Lewis at Aberdeen, was to a similar design but slightly smaller, and a motor ship.

1970: Owners renamed as Elias S. Condos, Leandros Gouliotis, Dionissios Vassilatos and Nicolaos Hadjigeorgiou.
1971: Sold to Fortuna Shipping Company Ltd., Cyprus and renamed MALENA.
1979: Sold to Aristos Kaisis, Limassol, Cyprus and renamed KAISIS I.
1981: Sold to Konista Navigation Company Ltd., Limassol, Cyprus.
