I would suggest it was some time after 10/12/1967, thats when I payed off, while they were waiting to be Sold but before they were joined by Sylvania. After above date there was only a skeleton staff, on an employed by the day situation, until they were sold. One ship was acting as "Live" the others taking minimal power and heating from it. No doubt somebody will prove me wrong.

cromted here David, your pic would have to be pre Sept 1960 as I joined her in Liverpool in Sept/60.

Your totally wrong in your assumption that this picture was taken pre September 1960 as it's clearly obvious it was taken in late 1967 at berth 101 Southampton Western Docks just as they had been laid up pending resale!
