John,
The last one in fact we undertook. Since then we have confined our operations to the Isle of Man.But never say never!

I have a slide of this tug taken in the Tyne in the 1980's. For some reason it was rejected by SN as too large. If you want a copy please let me know & I will send it direct.

Hi, The Chipchase was originaly owned by Blyth Harbour Commission, my home town, I would be interested in some details in where she is now.

Peter, This was her last voyage, to the breakers, so I think she is razor blades now. The boiler and engines were removed and sold on for further use. I think the engines and possibly the boiler went to Preston Services at Canterbury ( who deal in all things steam) but I think the boiler was sold on immediately to Scandinavia.

regards

Stephen
