In May 1962 I attended Tower Buildings Liverpool for my interview for apprenticeship with E & B. I and a couple of others were taken to the City of Auckland for a look see. At that tender age I was blown away by her and have never forgotten that day. I can even remember the Mate's name was McGregor. Never came across him again in my time with Ellermans.
