Have a look at previous pic of City of Glasgow and you will see this is the same ship. And she was the Ottawa when I sailed on her. But it still said Glasgow on the bell !!
Very unusual - 6 hatches - 5forrd and 1 aft surrounded by the crew accommodation. Nice ship.

Both Glasgow [ later Ottawa] and sister were built for Far East Run Glasgow had 11 deep tanks . No 1 L/H : No 3 L/H had 6 four wing tanks and fore and aft L / H [ Eastbourne had Frd 3 L/H split into P & S giving total of 12 tanks ]. Both had 4 Eng Room side tanks epoxy coated for latex. I was Second Mate in the Glasgow in 71 to 72. Vessel renamed whilst I was in her. My discharge book show Glasgow for all the time I was in her.
