Bruce Carson found these two for the Ellerman category in the Forum: http://www.clydesite.co.uk/clydebuilt/viewship.asp?id=4509
http://www.mattmar.com.au/General_Cargo_Photos/d030607009_City_of_Sydney.jpg Thought they might be posted anew here. The thread in the forum where these were posted immediately turned into a discussion of an incident concerning the 1930 ship, so there was nothing there concerning any sistership of this one for example. The slight research I've done indicates she was unique. Regards, Stein.
City of Sydney was first of three built by Barclay Curle for Ellermans. Sydney being first in 1960 followed by City of Canberra in 1961 and City of Adelaide in 1964. Small changes latter two had more " Fridge " space and more powerful engines.
