I have got one of the type nearby. Paddlewheel excursion steamer. https://www.visitnorway.no/listings/ds-skibladner-mj%C3%B8sas-hvite-svane/18020/ But I never took to her, partly because I find the sound she makes, this "flap-flap-flap..." downright silly. (Jester)

You are fortunate, "Skibladner" is a beautiful craft! Ah, the beat of the paddles.... I get aboard "Waverley" whenever possible. New boilers being fitted but alas I fear no sailings this season after all due to virus restrictions. The 'sea fever' will be hard to cope with.
