CLANSMAN

CLANSMAN

David Macbrayne ferry built at Aberdeen in 1964 for the Isles services on charter to the Caledonian Steam Packet Co as was, taken arriving at Gourock from Dunoon in February 1970.
The two companies are now one as Caledonian-Macbrayne, CalMac.
CLANSMAN herself was sold in the late 1970s to I think Middle Eastern buyers.

Calmac sold Clansman in 84 to Torbay Seaways but they sold her on due to planing permision problems. Middle Eastern buyers took her on, she was sailing the gulf of Akaba in 86.
