Main Engine : B&W 6L67GF - 11.200 bhp.

1990 Sold/Transferred to Wilhelm Wilhelmsens Redei A/S Oslo Norway.
1994 Renamed " [COLOR="blue"]CLARA ANN [/COLOR]".
1999 Sold to Artax Shipping Inc (Paramar Marine Enterprise Ltd as manager) Panama City Panama,renamed " [COLOR="Blue"]CORSICA[/COLOR] ".
2000 BU Alang India.

6 headlines and 2 breastlines- look like wire moorings-- seems a bit over the top,especially for an inland berth?Unless they are out on the bight for slipping? Is there a lot of interaction from closely-passing ships at this berth?

John Shaw. I took this photo while on a 'Manchester Ship Canal Cruise' in 96. You might have a point - there is passing shipping in this narrow waterway.

Yes, dangerous cargo indeed.

She is moored at the United Octel (Ellesmere Port) berth loading anti-knock compound (tetraethyl lead) for d/c Singapore or Indonesia. Essie Ann was another frequent visitor for same cargo. These were specialist vessels constructed for the particular trade of the commodity.
