Plenty of lifeboats and accommodation, so perhaps some kind of Pilgrim ship?
She certainly looks to be a former 'Victory'.

Built 1944 by Oregon SB Portland. First Victory ship to be built. Bought and refitted at Alexandria in 1947 by United Arab Maritime Co Alexandria. Her accommodation was enlarged and boat deck extended aft to the mainmast. In 1966 her route was Mediterranean to Canada carrying 75 cabin passengers.
Here she is at Port Said:-

Just a minor correction. She was built as the United Victory ( VC2-S-AP3) with MC# 85. She was, however, the first Victory Ship built by Kaiser Oregon SB as hull # 1001 i.e. their 1st Victory build and was handed over on 29th February 1944 .Scrapped at Gadani Beach in 1981. Also her sale in 1947 /8 was to Khedivial Mail line as Khedive Ismail. She was renamed Cleopatra in 1956 and her ownership by United Arab Maritime dates to 1961.
