Nice to see her still going strong, in her 38th season. I heard that her sistership, the LYUBOV ORLOVA -also a rebuilt ship of the project 1454-class (MARIJA JERMOLOVA) -after the bankrupcy of her owners - now has been sold for scrap. Too bad on a ship of this very successful Arctic ship class of highest ice class under atomic ice-breakers...
indeed, charming little ships! Quite a lot of them have already been scrapped, which really is a waste. It is interesting that the lead ship of the class, ALLA TARASOVA, is now the most succesful one as the CLIPPER ADVENTURER, as seen above. One of the ships, the KLAVDIYA YELANSKAYA, is still pretty much unchanged and sailing for the Murmansk Shipping company, very nice!
