She and her sister, the California Star, were regular callers in San Francisco (Oakland) and I piloted them many times and remember them well. They were very well maintained and crewed ships that were very clean. I still remember the beautifully maintained linoleum decks in the passageways that had a polished surface that you could see your reflection in.
