I think we were given a night off by the Old Man. Finished discharging and ballasting early and remained alongside for the night. From what I remember had a good night ashore. I must have behaved myself though as the "Mem" was with me.
It was about the only respite we had on what the Old Man claimed was one of BP's top performing ships!! My last trip, ended up with glandular fever, spent 3 months on sick leave and called it a day!! Probably influenced by the Old Mans comment of "You're booked back on board for your next trip" when I paid off sick!!
