Very interesting ship. She was built in France, employed in the West Africa trade with rather strong cargo handling gear to load logs, and she was at that time a large ship for this trade.

Think my friend Peter will be glad for your help. He sailed 2 years with the eastgerman FREUNDSCHAFT which had a similar design.
