Cormilan

Nice pic of the three - I suppose they won't be seen together that often, with the Morgawr's regular visits to Plymouth. I think I'm right in saying Cormilan is the most powerful harbour tug in Cornwall!
Any news when the Tregeagle is off?

I think you are right the Cormilan is a powerful tug but not sure of the H.P. of the tugs at Falmouth. The Tregeagle is on the sales list, Fowey Harbour Commissioners allways keep their vessels in top condition.

Figures I have are Percuil/Ankorva (the ugly sisters!) 1580bhp (20t bp), St Piran 2190bhp (23.5t bp).
Yes, must give FHC their due, the tugs are always in great condition! Sadly I just missed the Pendennick at Lowestoft the other day - she hasn't changed a bit!

All the fowey tugs are named after mystical beasts or Cornish monsters. Cormilan was the giant that built St Micheals Mount.
