CORNELIA MAERSK

A.P.Moller's 1967 Bergen built CORNELIA MAERSK was photographed by the late Dick Parsons prior to her 1981 conversion to a containership.

She was sold to CMB in 1991 and renamed CMB TABORA, then chartered out in 1992 to CMA/Andrew Weir for operation on their joint Red Sea Express Service for which

Not a bad looking job but it looks like they weren't too bothered about supplying a wheelhouse!

Good view of her before conversion, i saw her in Hong Kong after her rebuild to a full container ship. see link for photo

Remember seeing her o ra sister ship coming out of Rotterdam prior to conversion and was ost impressed . Good looking ship in my opinion and as usual being Danish, spotless.
