Interesting, I didn't know she'd ever been to Scotland. I sailed on her from Genoa to the Canaries several years ago, but shortly after that she was moved to Far East cruises, which is where she is today (2009). She is a conversion from the hull of a cargo ship, though you'd probably never guess. The glass wall ending several decks at her stern is a feature.
Lovely little ship. We have just got home from a cruise in her from Singapore to Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.
Very nice layout, clean, stylish decor, good food and great entertainment.
Costa do have their own way of doing things though!!
Costa = Italian for shambles!!.
She heads back to the Med in April. Being replaced in Asia by the Costa Romantica, joining the Costa Classica.
These are very good value for money cruises.
We paid 1800NZD for 15 days.
