Correct
She was built by Meyer Werft as Homeric, for Home Lines in 1986. I remember seeing her in Bermuda in 1987. Home Lines was taken over by Holland America in 1988 and she was renamed Westerdam. Shortly afterwards Holland America was taken over by Carnival. They sent Westerdam back to Meyer and she was lengthened in 2002. The new mid-body section can be identified by the larger hull windows ahead of the bigger launch.
She was transferred within the Carnival Group to Costa in 2001. She is the only Costa ship that is not fitted with a stove-pipe funnel or funnels.
