Crikey, when did Crystal boats start going east of Suez. I only went to the West Indies. Ken.

When would this have been taken. Before or after her collision with the British Aviator in the early 60's? I think she was rebuilt after that tragic incident.

The must have been way out of their comfort zone Calcutta rather than the West Indies?

Maybe carrying grain from the US?

Taken October 1964 after she had been rebuilt. At one stage she also lay alongside us and if I remember rightly she was discharging sulphur.

I would like to have this picture on a very large screen in a dark room. Then I think it could possibly all come alive! So much detailed ship space to think about moving around on, so many bits and pieces to make you remember and imagine. This picture is a delight! Stein
